16- 17 Months
Victoria is not an infant anymore. She can communicate with us. She has her taught, her favourite, her dislike and she can express what she wants now.
For baby:
Grow:
Her weight is 9kg and height 80cm.
Feeding:
Victoria eating same like last month. She likes to eat outside food and drink. But without fail, mommy still cook for her dinner or lunch when mommy off day. She likes rice. She prefer to feed herself. She is good to feed herself by spoon now. She will take away her plate when she feel herself enough of eating.
She likes snacks. Since this month, she started not really likes her baby food, biscuit and snacks. She is picky and doesn’t likes baby stuff now. Even her favourite Heinz puree, Heinz scotti biscuit and etc. Whatever she doesn’t like, she will pick it and throw away.
She drinks 120- 150 ml 2 times a day at her baby sister house. Mommy still can spare her one bottle of breastmilk daily. She still refuse to bottle feed night milk after dinner. But she never fail to ask for latching in car when we out for dinner. Her appetite reduce and did not eat much at dinner because she was sick for 3 weeks. We introduce her a new drinking cup. She likes to it and can drink a lot of water from it.
Night time:
She used to sleep around 1030pm now after latching. She refused formula milk or bottle milk at night. She woke up few times at night and asked for latching. The most cute is she can say out loudly ‘nen nen’ during the night to ask for latching.
Development:
Her canine teeth and first molar grew out.
She learnt more word like: bird bird, yeh yeh ( grandfather), nai nai (grandmother), bai bai (good bye), ma ma (mother), jie jie (sister), woh woh (dog), xie (shoe). She is happy when back home and saw he grandmother.
She likes to climb up the table and play whatever on the table. She likes to jump from the back of sofa.
She likes to mimic adult to clean the floor and table, clean her mouth with tissue, mop the floor and etc.
This poor kid got fever, cough and flu continue for 3 weeks
Playing time:
She starts to flip her books.
She likes to take her shoes to tell she wants to go out. She likes to take her father shoes and wear it.
For Mommy:
Mommy have weight is 51.5kg now.
Daily milk production has been reduced and average per day 120ml to 150ml with 2 times per day during working time and direct feed her at night, mid night and early morning before work.
