Valerie 17-18 months
For baby:
Grow:
Her weight is 7.8kg and height 74cm. Her weight still under the curve but her height is at the border line.
Feeding:
Valerie eats most of the food. Most of time she eats snack and junk food. Mommy failed to feed her full portion of rice when she is not sending to her baby sister house. Snack n junk food and milk become her only food. Lucky her baby sister still able to feed her full portion of rice or porridge, but she is busy playing while she feeding her.
Valerie will cry for it if we don't give her any soft or sweet drink when seeing it. She is weird because she doesn't like drink water much, she will get choke.
We just give her whatever food she eat. Fried, salty, sweet, oily and junk food given to her with one hope. Hoping that her weight will gain faster and more.
I changed her normal milk formula to partially hydrolysed protein (hypoallergic) formula by hoping that her eczema will get well. She accepts for it for few days during stay in Penang but after that she refused it. Her drinking pattern also became 40- 50 ml each feed and could not finish 100ml now from 100-120ml each feed. We changed back to her normal formula but her feeding pattern has changed to 40-50ml each feeding now.
Night time:
She used to sleep around 1030pm now after we off light. She wants to sleep in our bed and will cry at night if she wake up at night and want to come to our bed. She will knob her head when we ask her want milk or not when she starts to sucking her fingers. Some night she wakes up 1-2 times and drinks 40-60ml only. She can continue to sleep very quickly after that.
Development:
She likes to call ‘ah ma ma’ and touch you or point to it whenever she wants to tell us anything she saw. She will touch her chest if she is scare.
She is interested to dog, cat, bird, aeroplane, bus, motorbikes, toys and things surrounding her.
She is scare of firecrackers and lion dance and cry want to go in house but she stil want to she it. She likes to see lantern.
She likes to carry bags and go around. She likes to bring her toys together when we going out.
She likes to play in bathtub and water when taking bath. She will get ready and take her toys from toy box and go in toilet. She will pee on the floor after we taking off her diaper.
For Mommy:
Mommy has no more milk supply and she also has been stop for latching for 2 months.
