18 -19 months

Victoria has her first oversea travel for her first time in life beside Singapore. Same for mommy. I had my first oversea holiday since pregnant. Victoria is 18months and turning 19 months in Italy. She took a long hours flight about 13 hours in first in her life time. We took Etihad airway, they have a dedicated stewardess to take care of children. But Victoria is too 'big' and heavy. So no bassinet for her. So she sleep tight with me. I guess she was scared and miss her bed. She cried on and off after she awoke and whenever she felt me moved. After the first day of enduring flight n jet lag, she started to know what is going on. We are on holiday. She started to enjoy travel and interest to it. She sleeps well at night and enjoy much at day. She likes gelato ice-cream and spaghetti much! She drinks her milk too. For baby: Grow: Her weight is ? and height ? No measure as no clinic visit. Feeding: Victoria likes fried mee, chocolate, cry hard for dried cranberry, drie

Italy travel with 18 months baby

It is possible and easy to bring a baby less than 2 years old to travel at oversea. She knows what is happening and enjoying. Learn from it. We are surprisingly, it is quite easy, our luggage plus baby stuffs (milk, diaper, her clothes and a carrier), we only carry one medium luggage and small luggage plus a bag. Total weight is around 30kg for 3 of us .  We only bring a carrier and no stroller. Easy to move around with carrier. It was an enduring flight for Victoria, a 6 hours flight from Singapore to Abu Dhabi and 7 hours flight from Abu Dhabi to Milan by Etihad Airline. It is 6 hours behind Malaysia time. We landed at Milan 725am. It was an overnight flight, mummy and Victoria slept in the flight most of the time, but Victoria cried on and off when she awaken. No bassinet provided because she is too ‘long’ and overweight. There is one friendly stewardess who takes special care of Victoria. We started our Milan tour after we landed. It was a tiring day because

17- 18 months

My little one is turning 18 months today. How far she goes in this 18 months? Mommy found that she is amazing! For baby: Grow: Her weight is 9kg and height ?. She is pretty tall now. Feeding: Victoria is picky eaters now. She left vegetables on her plate and will split out anything she does not like, like vegetables, meats or any big food. But she takes juices, French fries, sweet food, kuih and dried fruits . Mommy bought a slow juicer to make fruit juices for her every day and she drinks them. Mommy also get a food dehydrator to make some dried fruits for her as her snack. She loves them even the fruits are sour.   Started this month, mommy weaned her breastfeeding. I reduce the frequency of expressing milk during work day by weekly then follow by only latching. Victoria only latches on demand at night. Unfortunately, she still woke up several times over the night just ask to latch. She still refuse to take bottle milk at night or at home, so we bought her a new soft

16- 17 Months

Victoria is not an infant anymore. She can communicate with us. She has her taught, her favourite, her dislike and she can express what she wants now. For baby: Grow: Her weight is 9kg and height 80cm. Feeding: Victoria eating same like last month. She likes to eat outside food and drink. But without fail, mommy still cook for her dinner or lunch when mommy off day. She likes rice. She prefer to feed herself. She is good to feed herself by spoon now. She will take away her plate when she feel herself enough of eating. She likes snacks. Since this month, she started not really likes her baby food, biscuit and snacks. She is picky and doesn’t likes baby stuff now. Even her favourite Heinz puree, Heinz scotti biscuit and etc. Whatever she doesn’t like, she will pick it and throw away. She drinks 120- 150 ml 2 times a day at her baby sister house. Mommy still can spare her one bottle of breastmilk daily. She still refuse to bottle feed night milk after dinner. But she never fai

15 - 16 months

Victoria is nearer to 18 months. She will be having her first oversea trip (except Singapore) to Italy. First time leave home for about 12 to 13 days. Really looking forward and see how we can handle her in Italy. Her food, her diaper, her milk and this naughty girl who likes to walk independently on the ground without someone holding her. Another 3 months to countdown. For baby: Grow: Her weight is 8.6kg and height 80cm. Feeding: Victoria eating same like last month. She likes to eat outside food and drink. But without fail, mommy still cook for her dinner or lunch when mommy off day. She likes teddy bear pasta, noodles and rice. She likes to self-feed and not allow us to feed her. She picks all the teddy bear pasta, noodles or rice and left the vegetable and fish. She will try to taste the food first before eat and spilt out the food if she does not like it! She likes Heinz or Goodbaby Puree, she can finish one packet at a time. I introduced her Scott’s emulsion regul

14- 15 months

For baby: Grow: Her weight is 9kg and height 80cm. Feeding: Victoria likes to eat outside food and like new food. She likes adult biscuit than her baby biscuit. We feed her adult food when she eating with us. I still cooked her dinner but without fish or meat because mommy did not buy frozen fish or meat. So we gave our fish or meat when we eat outside. Without fail, I still give her some DHA supplement to add in her food (but she does not like it). She eats pasta, roti canai, pastry, fried chicken and everything we eat. She drinks 150ml 2 times a day. Mommy breast milk was not enough finally. Victoria has to drink formula milk started this month at 15 months. But she did not drink much now. She was fever and follow by more than a week diarrhea. Her appetite was drop dramatically and refused to eat and drink milk powder during her diarrhea. But she can drink breast milk 150ml 2 times a day at her baby sister house. She refused to bottle feed or milk powder before sleep. Af

13- 14 months

For baby: Grow: Her weight is 8.5kg and height 76cm. Her feeding is lesser now. She did not drink much now. She drinks 100 to 120ml 3 times per day. Night time: She sleep around 10pm to 1030pm now after latching. She wakes up few time over the night. She needs to latch then only continue her sleep. She likes to sleep on our bed. Development: Victoria can walk independently very fast and stable. She likes to walk alone without someone hold her and will stop at everywhere and different direction with us. So we bought a ‘lion bag’ which is designed to tie her with us.
