Different Wedding Experience at Santorini

Image
My actual traditional wedding is coming up, I am so stress and busy recently. Wedding is a headache stuffs. It  involves two families and the couple. Things will get complicated and harder if both family members or your partner have different expectation and not giving you full support to involve in the preparation work. Traditional wedding need even more and complicated preparation works. The event seem like very simple but the detail and every single thing will make you go crazy. I think not every couple can handle with it unless the couple is a good event organizer and have plenty of free time. We are both busy at work couple. We do not like complicated stuffs or want a big event and end up too stress, quarrel, busy to prepare and arrange for the dinner at restaurant. Eventually, the couple have to pay for the unnecessary super costly event and also tired. Why not the wedding is just tailored make for couple, only the couple and let the couple enjoy...

I am so excited to write and share this dream land, Shangri-La (香格里拉), a place that very near to heaven. The blue sky, mountain, snow mountain, green grass, the animal, the Tibetan. the religion, and our local private trip driver (包车师傅), BianMaQiLin (边马七林), mobile: 13988730205 . I fall in love with this land and the people. I felt heavy to leave this heaven. The only impress me not only the beautiful scenery, but is the people there. I can see from our private driver, a Tibetan who has religious, believe in Buddha, helpful, take care of us, good personality, no smoke and most important is his 'honesty' that normally I cannot see in China.  We reached Shangri-la Airport from Kunming, Yunnan Province at 8.10am. We booked a kind driver together with his van for 3 days at Shangri-la. He brought us to find our hotel and breakfast before started our day. Stay at Taiwan: Sept 2012

Last two weeks we attended a course and conference at Taiwan. It was 4 hours flight from Singapore to Taipei. We were so happy and enjoying the bigger space in flight as we get the first row seat. We have been arranged to transfer to Caesar Park Taipei Hotel, located in the heart of Taipei City directly across from Taipei Main Station, it offers the most convenient access to Taiwan Railway, Taiwan High Speed Rail, Taipei Metro, buses and other major landmarks and attractions.  After a quick bath, we filled our stomach with some tasty taiwanese dumpling noodles and ru rou fan (卤肉饭) before started first class at night and follow by our late dinner at Tang Dynasty (糖朝). It's famous with its dessert and specialities Tauhua (豆花),  At here, we have tried tofu pudding in a cask (原木桶豆腐花) for splitting among multiple diners. It's taste very smooth. Next day, we took the MRT to the famous landmark, top brand shopping mall- T...

Sydney Gateway August 2012

We take this Hari Raya Puasa holiday opportunity to have a long break at Sydney. It took a long journey to fly to Sydney. 8 hours in the flight, we have 3 movies, 3 meals and few short sleeps. What a great experience flying with Qatar Airway. The time different with Malaysia is 2 hours. We finally reached at Sydney Kingsford International airport at 6am. A long queue at the imigration in this early morning. When we past the imigration, we were asked to see another officer for further questioning. Do we look like coming for holiday, don't we?   What a tire journey! We quickly headed to our hotel, Baywater Hotel Sydney at King Cross but no room available to check-in yet. So, we have our first breakfast at the Cafe next to our hotel. The sandwices and bacon filled our stomach. It was winter time here, so it was cold. The Australians were bathing in the sun and with their sunglasses while enjoying their weekend breakfast with friends or fami...

Chengdu- Jiu Zhai Gou: April 2012

Image
I have a memorable trip of 8days in Chengdu-Jiu Zhai Gou. We arrived at Chengdu Suan Liu Airport at the 12midnight and we took a cab to our Hotel. Surprisingly, the cab her ehas no extra surcharge for airport cab. The next day morning, we started our trip to the world-renowned Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base which is situated in Futou Mountain, 10km (6miles) north of Chengdu downtown. We planned to take a cab as we have 4 of us, just nice. Here, our bad experience started. The bad traffic in Chengdu city. What an unsystematic traffic on the road. People fight for taking cab in the middle of the road, bicycle, buses, motocars, motor, pedistrain all cross-linked. Finally, we managed to grab a cab and willing to send us to the place.     The base is replete with indispensable equipment for all kinds of breeding and research regarding Giant Pandas, such as rooms for the animals, feeding rooms, clinics, a Giant Panda Museum and research building, as well as...
