Valerie 16- 17 months
Valerie can communicate with us. She can answer you by knodding or shaking her head whenever you ask her a question.
For baby:
Grow:
Her weight is 7.5kg and height 73cm. Her weight has been not increased for the past three months.
Feeding:
Valerie would like to ask for drink or eat whenever she saw we buy something or drink. She will cry hard if didn’t give her the food. She prefer to feed herself. She is good to feed herself by spoon and fork now. She still like to use her hand to pick the food to eat. She will ask for her baby chair when saw we going to eat dinner and stand up from the baby chair when she feels she doesn’t want to eat anymore.
She likes all junk food her sister is eating. She stil happy and like to eat when give her fish oil. She has not eating full meal when we feed her at home. But her milk demand has slightly increase to 5-6 times a day 100-130ml. Starting this month we changed her milk formula to partially hydrolyse protein follow to reduce her eczema.
She drinks 120ml 2-3 times a day at her baby sister house. She has totally no more breastmilk. She can drink 2 bottle milk at night now. During mid night, she will cry and pointing at her milk bottle area. She will knod her head if you ask her want to drink milk or not. She will continue her sleep after milk. Sometimes she can finish 1 bottle 100ml but most of days she can’t finish. She drinks 20-50ml only.
Night time:
She used to sleep around 1030pm now after milk. No more latching at night or before sleep. She wakes up 1 or few times at night and cry. She will pointed at the basket and she will knod her head when you ask her if she wants drink milk. After milk, she will continue her sleep on our bed. She refuses to sleep on her bed.
Development:
Her canine teeth and first molar grew out.
She can say more word like: pa pa (father), yeh yeh ( grandfather), nai nai (grandmother), bai bai (good bye), ma ma (mother), jie jie (sister), don’t want. She will call ma ma or pa pa when she wants to show something.
She likes to climb up the table and play whatever on the table.
Sometimes she will take the clothes and clean the floor, throw the dirty clothes and diapers into laundry bin and rubbish bin.
We noticed she has unknown lymph nodes swelling at her groin.
She would like to see and join other kids or cousins when saw they are playing.
Playing time:
She starts to flip her books and happy pointing at book.
She likes to take her shoes to tell she wants to go out. She likes to take her sister shoes to wear it.
She likes to go out from the house whenever we open the door.
She can sit alone to play with toys and repeated same toys.
She likes to play water and kick her legs when on the wet floor or in her bath tub.
She can go up and down herself from the bicycle and playing at playground.
For Mommy:
Mommy have weight is 56kg now.
Daily milk production has totally dry up.
