Kingsley 4 - 5 months

 For baby:

Grow:
Kingsley weight is 6kg now and long 63cm

Feeding:
Kingsley was fed with 140 - 150 ml 2.5 to 3 hourly at nanny house. I direct feed him at 8.30pm and before sleep. He will wake up for milk at night time around 4-6am. He has no burp now after feeding.

He usually will sleep until we wake him up in the morning when we are going to school or work. He will drink his morning milk after his dad sent him to his nanny house.

I will let her direct feed on my rest day and no bottle feed now. I managed to get some positive balance on my rest day because I pump one side out at night and morning when breast feed him. 

Night time:
He used to cry after 8pm that was usually my shower time and when I put him alone on the bed.  He will be ok just after I done showering and let him latch. 

He will wake up at 3-5am to ask for milk. I let her latching and he will continue sleep after awhile. He latched less and easily continue his sleep. Sometimes he will like to continue to sleep in our bed. I will pump milk from another side while he latched on the other side. Sometime I woke up earlier than him and pump at both side first. Then he will not get enough and will not continue to sleep easily. 

Development:

Kingsley is very curious to her surrounding and will join his sister to play. He will sleep less when someone around or when bring him to somewhere. He will distract himself while latching and turn towards voices.

He wants to be in up right and standing position now. He will cry if we left her alone there.

He will open up his  arms and kicking his legs when he is asking for someone to carry. He will smile or laugh to you when you call him or talking with him.

He likes to see what other doing now.

He likes to suck his thumb and his small towel now. He will holding his small towel and looking at it.

He can sit with assistance at this month.

Playing time:
He likes to grab things around him. We let him go to the swimming pool for the first time. He cried when first go in, probably because the water is cool. 

Kingsley went to his first overseas trip from Singapore to Bali for 4 days 3 nights when he is turning into 5 months old. He slept in the plane but crying on the plane after boarding the plane when on the way back. Probably he felt tired and don’t want to sleep. He refused to latch and need me to be in standing position before the flight is taking off. Lucky, he latched and slept after some bad crying. He is good throughout the trip. He swam in the pool and afternoon nap beside the pool. He cried awhile and go into sleep while mummy went for Balinese massage at the hotel. The therapist is very good and help me to comfort him while massaging. 

For Mommy:
Mommy milk supply is nearly out of stock. Daily will get around 500-600 ml.while Kingsley will drink around 600+ when at nanny house. The daily supply is almost less than the demand when working day. Lucky, mommy can get extra some milk expressed out when not working day as I collect the milk from another side while I let him latched on the other side at night and early morning. 

At the same time, I changed my breast pump (Youha Eclipse) to the old one which I used during Kingston’s time. I started to pump 3 times when at work at around 10.30am, 1.30pm and 5pm. Lucky, the old breast pump can empty my breast and still can support his demand.
