Kingsley 6-7 months

 For baby:

Grow:
Kingsley weight 8kg and length 66cm

Feeding:
Kingsley started with his first solid food at week 26, after we came back from Japan trip. His nanny give him 小米糊 and then porridge. Mummy make some mix vegetable (brocholli, cabbage, carrot, tomato, corn, celery and dragon fruit) pureen at week 27 just before the Chinese New Year week.  First time he just eat few (2-3) small spoons and then he refused to eat (mouth closed). Then he can finish about 50ml after that during the CNY holiday taking care by his mummy.

Since he started solid food, he only drink around 120ml 2 times at nanny house after he started solid food 2 meals per day at nanny house.  I did not feed him after that, but just sometime I let him eat some fruit by using the pacifier feeding spoon during dinner time with us. He likes it at the beginning but ends up crying (not sure because still wants to eat and the food doesn’t come out from the pacifier spoon or actually hungry and wants to latch) 

He has not poo for about 5 -6 days after  his first week starting solid food at nanny house. Sometimes he poo after 2-3 days. However, he poo everyday when I feed him with mix vegetables puree during the CNY holiday at home. 

Night time:

He sleeps at around 1030pm when we off the room light and continue his latching on the bed. He will continue to sleep on our bed throughout the night and wake up for latching 2-4 times at night. He will wake up when noticed I had woke up and not in bed. 

Development:
Kingsley can sit up by himself without assistance at 24 weeks. he can turn to sit up position from lying position with some hand pulling on some things. He will cry if we do not put him in a sit-up position.  He likes to grab everything in front of or near him.

He will swing his hands and legs wherever he is happy or want something. He will always open up his hands and kick his legs when he wants us to carry him. 

He will eat and bite everything he holds. He bit hard on his frog teether too. He likes to eat on his feet, big toe and thumb.

He likes play with his saliva and blow it. 

His first teeth has grown out at week 25th week. 

He likes to eats his booties on her legs by bending his body down when in a sitting position then up. 

He can changes from sit to tummy down and head up then roll over left and right at week 25. He can roll and move at week 27th. 

He can sit in a feeding chair at week 27th without support. 

He will make noise or cry whenever he is sleepy and when Mummy leaves him alone there or when he is put down. He cry with the sound like 'Maa' for mummy or 'Neen' for milk.

He doesn't like other to carrying him if his mummy is there but he smiles and laughs when people call or play with him.

He likes to sleep with his hand open at his side and stretching his body and hands up with a few shakes when sleeping. 

Playing time:
He will play with his milk bottle and like to put into mouth himself or push away the bottle when he don’t want.  He will put everything inside her mouth. 

He looks around and pulling the things he wants now. 

He travelled to Langkawi beach and Penang during the Chinese New Year.  His second time goes to Penang. He is good this time in the aeroplane and finally fell asleep.  I did not feed him puree or food during the trip He refused to eat the Quaker Oats so I just fed him some 'pao' and fruit for breakfast at the hotel. No other food after that and only direct latch. 

For Mommy:

Mommy is lazy to prepare him puree during weekend when he did not go to his nanny house. So he just given breast milk the whole day and sometime a little rice. 

The milk supply has extra one packet around 120ml every day during my working day, I have around 360-400ml express milk on the working day.  Mummy weight had reduced to 57kg.
