6 to 7 months (24- 28 weeks)
For baby:
Grow:
Victoria weight 7.05kg and length 72cm.
Feeding:
Victoria was started with her first solid food at week 23. Just one week earlier than 6 months old. We fed her carrot puree for 3 days, then pumpkin puree for 3 days, follow by potato 3 days and sweet potato by 3 days. We added one type of food every 3 days and mix together. She has given carrot, pumpkin, potato, sweet potato (yellow, purple, orange), apple, peach, pear, banana, kiwi, and cabbage at 27 week. I mix everything in each meal so she can have more nutrient from variety of food. The major is potato because it makes the puree not taste so sweet since all food are very sweet. She likes sweet potato, pumpkin and banana while she doesn’t like much potato and carrot. I guess because of not so sweet taste.

She was fed with 40 – 50ml
puree 1 times per day for 1 week then followed by 50- 80ml puree 2 times per
day. For the first 2 weeks she accept it very good. For lunch, her baby sister
feeds her 1 hour after drinking milk and I direct feed her milk for 20 minutes
first before feeding her puree at night time.
Started at 3rd week (at
25 weeks old), she has reduce in appetite and sometime don’t like to eat and
drink milk. She cannot finish her milk or drink average 100 to 140ml each time
or sometimes she don’t want at all. Initially I thought the sweet potato and
pumpkin is too sweet and my milk is tasteless so she doesn’t like my milk now. Then
we found her first teeth seen at 25 weeks old. That is why she might have
reduce in appetite. Since then, she has not finished her milk or refused to
drink milk and sometime refused to eat puree too. I have a big problem because I
cannot estimate how much she can drink milk now and a lot of milk was discarded
because she could not finish it. However, I still try to feed her 120ml to
160ml and discard the unfinished. What a waste! She drinks
average 600ml to 750ml now.
Night time:
She still likes to roll over during night time as well. She sleeps in her new big crib at 24 weeks old when he can stand up herself by holding the bar. As usual, we found her in other corner and many different style at next day morning. She has less wake up during night time for milk until 6am to 8pm since her last milk at around 10pm. But she did wake up over the night for few times, she stand-up herself in the bed and cry. She will continue her sleep after we hug her for few minutes.
Her sleeping time is around
1030pm and sometimes at 12 mid night. As usual, she will take her short sleep
at around 6pm to 8pm or at 8pm.
Development:
Victoria can stand up herself by holding something. She stands up herself in her play-pan at 24 weeks old. She can stand up and move at 25 weeks old. She likes to do it once we put her in her crib or anywhere she can hold to stand.

She starts to knows people around her and she can show her emotion on face. She will give me a big smile when I go to bring her back from her baby sister house. She will looking at me when other hugs her. Her face can tell her emotion, face just woke up, sleepy, crying..
Playing time:
We put the play yard up at 24 weeks old since she can craw freely outside her play mat. She enjoys to play and craws everywhere inside.

She attended a wedding dinner
at first time. She slept there at 9pm.
She met my parents (her
grandparent for the second time during my sister’s wedding. She felt good with
them.
For Mommy:
For Mommy:
Mommy have to prepare puree every morning and
bring to her baby sister’s house. At night, mommy also needs to prepare again,
but lucky we have bought a food steamer/processer, so the food can be prepared
very easily and in less than 10 minutes. The fridge is full of milk because Victoria
drinks less milk now but my milk supply still maintain in 700 to 850ml daily.
She drinks average 600ml to 750ml now.
I practice working day express milk out during
work and direct feed when off day. I will give her bottle feed only at night
time last milk, mid night milk and morning first every day. So, I am more relax
during the off day because I have less bottle to wash if I feed directly.
