Soft white bread

INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour / white bread flour ( 300+ 100g)
- 1 tablespoons yeast (or 1 x 7g )
- 1 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cups warm-hot water (45 celcius)
- 30g milk powder (optional)
- 1⁄8 cup cooking oil
- Put 2 cups (300g) flour, yeast, sugar, salt into a large bowl.
- Pour in hot water and oil and mix until it combined. It will be sticky.
- Add the remaining flour (~100g) in increment until the dough is no longer sticky.
- HKnead about 5 minutes until dough is elastic and smooth.
- Put the dough back into the large bowl and cover with a damp tea-towel and let it rise until double it’s size~ 1/2 hour.
- Punch it down. Roll piece long enough to fill oiled loaf pan and leave it rise until the dough has reached the rim of the pan.
- Bake at 200 celcius for 40 minutes. May coverage layer with aluminium foil to prevent crust.
- Rub hot bread with water and wrap with tea towel to ‘sweat’ to soften the crust.
